The Double StandardSometimes I feel like the king of it.Modern society is so adept at creating standards and "right and wrong" for everything now days. Good choices, bad choices, choices you didn't make... etc. So then, what is wrong and right? Why do we make decisions, knowing they are wrong? I mean, if society has predetermined all right and wrong answers, then why the hell do we continue to make the wrong ones? I know that doing something like the things I, and we all, do might hurt another person, yet we STILL do them. But if the other person that you do this to was to do the same thing to you, how would you take it? Personally, that's where I become the king of the double standard. It's just my swagger. You could say that one time should be enough to learn your lesson, but that's so nowhere near the case for me. And to this day, I still stand by my decisions. I think the worst part about it, is that now I look back and realize that I DID do really mean things... And instead of learning from that, I, like anyone else, laugh about it all over a beer and tell it like stories to my friends. But on Tuesday I learned, Karma... is a bitch. In the past 3 days, I have had to question what my next move is... It all started with a phone call... [ Read the rest ... ] Posted by duCe |

What We Do is Secret![]() Punk Rock. Many people know the type of music it is, and many people love it. I personally, am not a die-hard fan, but never the less I stumbled upon an extremely interesting bio-doc, and was so intrigued I couldn't let it out of my head. The black clothes that people wear now days, with the mix-and-match eye shadow to coordinate precisely with their black and blue striped leggings, which are topped with the black pants or skirts, unifying together to be different. The anti-conformist, fighting society and doing all within their power to prove to the world that they are different, and most certainly NOT conformists. If you want to be like them, all you have to do is where the same type of clothes they do, and do all the same things they do. Anti-conformists. Seems to the common outsider, such as myself, that 'goths' and 'punk rockers' seem a bit synonymous. Now, if that sparks a fire with someone because I'm incorrect, then please feel free to correct me. But we aren't here to talk about that. This is about something different. Something huge. Something that even I, a person with no taste for this type of music or lifestyle, can appreciate. [ Read the rest ... ] Posted by duCe |

Because any site could use a little home improvementIt goes without saying that my spare time could be compared to a penny you found lying on the side of the road. It's not much, but when you find it it's nice to have.Anyway, came across an old video that I know any man can appreciate. Sit back, grab the Home Depot Catalogue, and enjoy. The next best thing?Things have been quiet around here lately, everyone's been off doing their own thing- some of us have been playing Civilization, L4D, other games or even other SAMP servers. Now I'll be honest I'd reinstalled SAMP a few days ago to see if I could get a taste of what I once had, and I must say I haven't really found anything to quench that thirst I had from the old days. Don't get me wrong- I've seen a lot of great things that many different people worked hard on, and I complement their work and hope for them all the best, but I'm ready to move on...[ Read the rest ... ] Posted by Dr_Doctor |

The Darkfall Trader Network is for sale! Due to some unfortunate time constraints I’ve been unable to get personally involved with Darkfall beyond its initial beta stages so I’ve decided to sell the Darkfall Trader Network website and its associated domains. The domains and this website can have many applications for both business opportunities and recreation. Whether you have a gold resale business or are looking to pioneer a trading forum for the popular MMORPG Darkfall you may be interested in this website and its domains. The site is already indexed #1 on Google for the keywords "darkfall trade" and occupies the number 8 spot for "darkfall trade forums". Aside from being extremely search engine optimized the site has a robust set of features. More listed after the jump. [ Read the rest ... ] Posted by Violent Dave |
4 Groundbreaking Games You’ve Never Heard OfEvery once in a while a game comes out and completely flies under the radar. You spend dozens of hours playing it then when you go to ask your friends about it or look up more information on it you find that it’s no where near as popular as you suspected while playing it. Here’s a list of four ground breaking games that not just flew under the radar because of greatness, but they even went as far as to inventing genres.[ Read the rest ... ] Posted by Violent Dave |

Tag, You're It! Beta open for CCN! For months myself and a select group of people that you probably know amongst yourself have been slaving away at producing a new, unique website. It's called "Tag, You're It!" and is based on collaborations of writing stories, producing art (PS), flash and DJing music where you "Tag" someone to play the next part in yours or someone else collaboration. At the moment we are only opening up to CCN members (feel free to invite anyone you would like though) to test the website and make sure it is at 100% satisfaction. We have an available mIRC chat room that pops up through the websites menu, forums, groups, and even a center for tutorials (yet to have much in it though since the website is new). There is a lot of stuff on TYI! (Tag, You're It!) that probably still needs a lot of work and that's where the lot of you come in. Either way, it's made for us to all have FUN! I hope to see you all there! Posted by Budd |

BurnoutRacing games never had much appeal to whether it be the hyper realistic simulation racing that NASCAR or the gear head customization fetish fanboy’s Need For Speed Underground series. Maybe I just wasn’t into cars enough but they never brought anything to the table that could capture my attention for more then a few fleeting moments before I asked the obviously out of place question, "How do you shoot?" Apparently if I’m not killing, maiming, destroying, or flat out eating people I’m really not satisfied with my gaming experience. That is until I played Burnout. It ruined everything.[ Read the rest ... ] Posted by Violent Dave |
